Look We Love

Macrame:

An art of textile fabrication using a series of knots, macrame dates back to the 13th century and was widely used in Victorian times as well as the neo-hippie era of the 1970's.  We at A20 have recently discovered our love of modernized macrame.

A belted maxi dress like this offering by Sanctuary gives macrame a tropical vibe, striking the perfect note for summertime or resort travels.

This handmade owl necklace by local Greenville, SC designer Native Rainbow balances sweetness and edge with its pastel leather.

Just a hint on the shoulders of this Ella Moss top adds depth and texture to an otherwise simple ensemble.

Layered over feminine nudes, like on this pencil skirt by Free People, macrame takes on a feminine lace appearance that is perfect for a day at the marketing firm or an evening out with girlfriends.
